Happy Canada Day!
I hope you are out enjoying this lovely long weekend.
Today I decided to do a review on the new Stampin' Up! 2016 - 2018 In Colours. Every year Stampin' Up! releases 5 new colours for a two year period. These colours are heavily researched and are on trend with the colours that are expected to be popular for the coming year.
This year the colours that Stampin' Up! released were:
Dapper Denim
Flirty Flamingo
Peekaboo Peach
Emerald Envy
Sweet Sugarplum
Aren't they lovely? I'm really quite taken with these colours as they blend nicely with each other and they fill in gaps in the base colour palette.
Here are the cards I made using these colours and a video to see how I put them together. The stamp set I used was Penned & Painted from Stampin' Up! which is a two step photopolymer stamping set.
I have included photos below of how the new colours compare to the similar colours in the Stampin' Up! palette - both past and present.
Please see below for the links to the products used to make these cards.
See you next time!
Michelle
Great video never would think about using the same colour twice like that.
